I had a terrific college experience, where I was challenged and inspired academically, made wonderful friends, and discovered who I am as a woman. As a student, I had heard alums describe how they appreciated Wellesley even more after they graduated, and I couldn't imagine how that could possibly be true... how could I love Wellesley any more? But it happened! Because out in the real world, meeting friends who had differing college experiences, taking graduate courses, and in the workplace, I realized that I received a uniquely excellent education at Wellesley. And I am truly thankful that while my non-Wellesley friends tell stories of drinking bad beer and skipping class, my memories are of studying like crazy, talking to professors during office hours, playing hours of ultimate frisbee every week, leading house council meetings, and walking around campus in awe of its beauty.
I loved Wellesley the day I arrived, and I loved it the day I left.
