Lex Mouton ’20 is one of hundreds of students whose decision to come to Wellesley was due in large part to her participation in Wellesley’s Admission fly-in program. Students who don’t have the means to travel to Wellesley are able to tour campus, attend classes and panels, and get a glimpse of life at Wellesley. After experiencing Wellesley in person, Lex knew that this was the place she was meant to be.
A visit to campus greatly impacts a student’s likelihood to apply and later enroll: students who participate in the fly-in program have a 13 percent higher overall rate of enrollment. That’s why last year the program brought close to 175 admitted students to campus—more than half of whom enrolled at Wellesley in the fall.
Wellesley’s generous financial aid is central to our commitment to educate the most talented and engaged women, making it possible to enroll students based on their skills, abilities, and promise—not their family’s income.
