Over the past 64 years, the "Wellesley Effect" that I value above all else has been the lifelong friendships of classmates, both those friendships forged during our four years at Wellesley, and those made in the years after graduation. I also treasure the friendships of alumnae in other classes, and across the generations, that resulted both from my working at the College and from serving on various Alumnae Association committees.

In recent years I have served on the Board of the Wellesley Students' Aid Society, and am so impressed and inspired by our current students. As they go out into the world, we can be sure the "Wellesley Effect" will continue, and they will 'make a difference' in the world!
