I loved living on that beautiful campus, enjoyed my studies, and made lifelong friends. Through one of them I found my first teaching job and met my first husband.

The Wellesley placement office helped me find the job as a editor that became my profession. It was a privilege to be at a women's college during wartime, when things there were more normal than at co-ed institutions (although we did have our own navy officers in the Quad!). I look forward to attending at least part of our 70th reunion this year.
