I loved physics, and I wanted to help as many girls as possible learn to love it, too. We must find a way to inspire students to be innovators and to teach everyone to think and work like scientists and engineers.
I taught for 8 years before going into administration, first as the chair of the science department, and more recently, as vice principal.
A former administrator told me that the latin root of the word “administration” means to serve, which harkens back to Wellesley’s motto in a really nice way. I love that I am able to help make the lives of our students and teachers better as part of my job.
