Wellesley was a stop on my older sister's college tours, and I was along for the ride. From the age of 13, Wellesley was a favorite.
Looking forward to college since middle school gave my high school experience a sense of purpose. My hard work at that stage was about earning options to get the college education I wanted. My success translated into admission.
At Wellesley, I continued to work hard. I found my closest friends and discovered my academic passions. After four years, my success was knowing that the thing I had worked so hard to achieve was so worth it.
I graduated only two years ago, and success hasn't really translated yet. Building a satisfying career isn't as simple as applying to college or registering for classes. But I can always look to Wellesley as a source of confidence and a symbol of my potential.
